A question about hunting dogs (hounds)… ?
What are some dogs that used to hunt wolves? (Before you ask, I’m not planning to, obviously – it’s for a story I’m writing). I’ve already thought of the obvious Irish Wolfhound, and the Boroi (Russian Wolfhound), and also even the Grand Bleu de Gascogne. Are there any others?

Lol. Thanks, but the entire story is about wolves, so I can’t exactly change it.
(I just noticed I spelt Borzoi as Boroi. Woops.)
Afghan Hounds were bred to hunt jaguars. Not that it helps… change your story!
They are the most beautiful large breed dogs. I would recommend going to the AKC (american kennel club) website it will tell you all the recognized breeds and what they were bred to do. Hope this helps.
